General Information For Admission In M.Phil.
The M.Phil course/Degree is considered to be a bridge course between the Master’s Degree (M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com. / MBA /MCA) and the doctoral degree (Ph.D) M.Phil. Degrees of one/two years duration. The admission to the M.Phil degree course is regulated through the UGC (Minimum Standards) and Procedure form award of M.Phil/Ph.D degree) Regulation 2009. Selection of M.Phil candidates is done on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the university.
The One Year full time and regular M.Phil. Degree conducted at has been designed for enabling the Master’s Degree holders to acquire expert knowledge of research methodology and other advanced topics for being prepared to get registered in the Ph.D Degree in the relevant Faculties.

An all India Entrance Test will be conducted for selecting candidates for admission to the M.Phil Degree.
